Dr Christopher Mulligan

Dr Mulligan is an Australian trained Orthopaedic Surgeon practicing in Sydney. He completed medical training at the University of New South Wales and specialist orthopaedic training throughout New South Wales.

Dr Mulligan is an academic surgeon, having completed a PhD in 2023 on paediatric trauma. He continues to teach and train medical students, junior doctors and orthopaedic trainees. He brings academic rigour into his clinical work, combining the latest evidence-based practice with an empathetic and caring approach to each patient. Dr Mulligan has undertaken further post-fellowship training in adult arthroplasty and paediatric orthopaedics in units across Australia, as well as the United Kingdom and Europe.

Dr Mulligan has a particular interest in all aspects of lower limb surgery in both adults and children. He is passionate about working collaboratively with his patients to achieve the best health outcomes. He will take the time to understand your unique needs and concerns and works collaboratively with other health professionals such as physiotherapists and sports medicine physicians.
